For this assignment, you must read one scholarly article on a topic related to class. This should be an academic journal article or an approved article. After
reading it, you will write a 2-3 page paper. In the paper you should include a brief summary of the article, the strengths and weaknesses of the article, how it
relates to what we’ve studied about adult development and aging, and then write about one (or two) things that really stuck out to you. You will find a grading
rubric to assist you in what to include in the paper.
The paper should be double-spaced and free of grammatical errors. You need to include the reference of the article on the last page.
Use Chapter 10 Or you can find other things that you should be able to make a connection back to your book or class. For example, are older adults suffering
from depression more likely to use a substance? Chapter 10 talks about depression. Things like that – just some kind of connection to what we’ve been
learning.
The textbook must be used to make a connection for what was learned in class! Extremely important!!!!
